Ultimate Reset Day 3
Well today was Halloween which was a terrible day to be doing the Reset. I was short on time this morning so instead of making my breakfast I blended up a Shakeology (chocolate, strawberry and water). It was delicious, I have really missed having it the last few mornings. Instead of the lunch and dinner they had planned I had a Greek Salad again and the Bean and Rice Taco for dinner again. It was a crazy day with school parties, lots of costumes and trick or treating. I did have a slip up today at a friends house. I walked in and was handed an adult mixed drink. I gave in and did not put it down but that was the only mess up through the whole day which I did not think was to bad. I am tired tonight but I don't think it was because of the cleanse I think it was because of the CRAZY DAY!!! I am hoping to be back on track tomorrow :)

Ultimate Reset Day 2
Today was GREAT!!!! I started the day with yummy oatmeal with blueberries and walnuts. I got a little hungry during my morning snack time but nothing terrible. Then I had a greek salad with chicken for lunch and I am happy to say that it held me over until dinner. I was planning on an afternoon snack but I was busy at work and never grabbed it. Dinner was really good, it was a corn tortilla with brown rice, black beans, avocado and some salsa. I am going to fix it again for the whole family, I think everyone would like it. I did mess up tonight and I forgot to take my supplements before dinner. When I made my black beans and rice I made enough for tomorrow night also. Since it is Halloween I knew we would not be around for dinner so I will throw together a taco tomorrow night again. I still feel good with plenty of energy. I spent about 30 minutes right before bedtime putting my lunch together for tomorrow. I made lentils tonight, I have never ate them before so tomorrow will be a first :)

Ultimate Reset Day 1
It has started!!!! Today is the first day of my Ultimate Reset Challenge. I have to admit this is not going to be easy, not because of weird food and supplements but because I am so hooked to junk food. I loved all the foods I ate today. For breakfast I had eggs, toast and steamed spinach, yummy! For lunch I really stepped out of the box and had miso soup and an amazing salad. Did you know that miso soup is basically broth with seaweed? Well it is and I really did like it. I messed up this afternoon because I should have had a snack and I didn't :( It says in the program to try to not have a snack but if you need to it is OK to grab one (a clean one). I thought I would be a tough girl and instead I got a little hungry before dinner. I won't make that mistake again. Dinner was great, salmon, asparagus and potatoes. In fact I fed it to my entire family and they all enjoyed it. You will not starve in this program in fact I could not finish all of my breakfast or lunch. Also, I drank almost a gallon of water today so the bathroom was my friend ;) The last thing I wanted to talk about was the supplements. You must be organized and accountable for different supplements throughout the day. The only part of the day I did not like was the Alkalinize supplement. I am not going to sugar coat it, it was not very good :) but I can deal with it. My energy is normal tonight and I am not tired however I want to be doing a workout but I am not supposed to be :( Lets see what tomorrow brings . . . . .
Grocery Shopping Part 2
Yesterday I shopped for the food I will need in the first week of the Ultimate Reset. I was happily surprised that the regular grocery store (King Soopers) carried most of it. I had to go to Whole Foods for only about 10 items. Be sure you clean out your frig before you do because you will fill it with produce. I bought a TON of fresh fruits and veggies, some I have never tried. Forgive me but I have only ever had beets out of a can not fresh, this could be interesting. I think I spent about $50 just on produce and the rest was around $60. At Whole Foods I spent around $65. I think I will spend more money on this week then the others because I bought a lot of the seasonings and oils that I will now use through the whole program and then after. All together I was very pleased with my day of shopping and will keep you posted on what all I eat today :)

Grocery Shopping
I am headed into town to start shopping for food for the Ultimate Reset. A lot of the food on my list are foods I have around normally but there are some that will be interesting to find ;) and really interesting to eat. Wish me luck!

THE ULTIMATE RESET
I will be starting the Ultimate Reset by Beachbody on Tuesday so you can follow my journey on this blog. I am blogging as well as Facebooking because of friends that are not on Facebook. If you know of others who would enjoy seeing my progression through this detox let them know about my blog. I will be grocery shopping on Monday to get all of the food for my meals so I can be prepared for the week. Then hopefully Tuesday night I can prepare some of it ahead of time. Each week there is a list of the foods you can prepare ahead of time so that will be very helpful. Also there is a menu each day of what to eat and even snack on so you never have to wonder what you should eat. Wish me luck!!!
