LAST DAY Ultimate Reset Day 21

I DID IT!!!!!  I can't believe I made it :)  I am so proud of myself for completing this and I can't believe all that I learned from this process.  I feel I know my body so much better, I love new foods and I am ready to change my entire diet.  I did not do this to lose weight so I was not very disciplined in weighing and measuring because I did not want that to become the reason.  My digestion was the number one reason and I feel GREAT!!!  It was not easy but very fulfilling!!!  Today I did not stick strictly to the diet because I really started running out of groceries.  I am going to have to run to town Wednesday :(  I did have a Shakeology this morning (I ran out of fruit), and for lunch I through a bunch of veggies in a salad with the awesome creamy garlic dressing (MY FAVORITE) and dinner was a quinoa veggie mix.  I can't believe this journey has came to an end!  If you have any questions or are interested in following my next journey follow and message me on Facebook;  www.facebook.com/FarmGirlFitness3

Ultimate Reset Day 20

OH MY I CHEATED TODAY!!!!  The day went well with fruit for breakfast and a quinoa veggie mix for lunch but then came the evening.  I knew all along that I would not get through the night without a little cheating because we were headed to a football party.  The Broncos were playing the Chiefs in primetime and my husbands aunt had invited us and some others over for dinner and the game.  My plan was to eat a little early at home and then steal a bite or two at their house.  Well my plan did not work.  Before we left I had a sweet potato and a Shakeology but when I walked into their house the smell was amazing and my mouth started to water.  She had brisket, twice baked potatoes, amazing rolls and a ton more including queso dip which is one of my favorites.  Needless to say I had more then a bite of most of it.  I did not feel great after dinner but I expected to feel worse then I did.  I am going to get back on track for my last day of Reset tomorrow I promise :)

Ultimate Reset Day 19

With only two days left I cheated today :(  We had a wonderful day at home.  I made a huge breakfast for my family; whole wheat pancakes, fresh side and scrambled eggs.  I made it through all of this with no cheating.  I had an apple for breakfast.  Then I had some bananas going bad so I made two loaves of healthy banana bread.  I used applesauce instead of sugar and whole wheat flour.  It really turned out great.  I tried a crumb just to see if it tasted good and it did.  Even though I wanted a piece of kept from taking one and had a wonderful lunch.  I am starting to run low on some of the ingredients I need for some of these recipes and we live an hour from a grocery store so I have started making a few things up.  For lunch I mixed quinoa and edamame and threw some red pepper and onion in some olive oil and then threw it all together and heated it up.  I put a little aminos on it and it was DELICIOUS!!!  Dinner came along and this is where I fell apart after a whole day of saying no.  I was making soup for my family and it was with a lot of veggies and the only ingredient that I could not have was the tomato sauce.  Instead of taking the time to make my own dinner I had a bowl of this soup.  And then I gave in and had a small piece of the banana bread.  I feel bad that I cheated this close to being done but it was a pretty small cheat.  I still feel OK and have had an almost euphoric happiness today.  I am very happy with the program :)

Ultimate Reset Day 18

Three days left ... today was great until dinner, I will get to that later ;)  My mood was great again today and my cravings are gone.  Tonight I almost snatched a chip or two but it was not as much of a craving as a habit I think.  When I cook I snack so instead of having chips out I need to make sure I have fruit or veggies out so I grab instead.  Also my energy has been great and my mind does seem more focused.  However, I am glad to see the 21 days end more so for convenience.  It is hard work and a lot of dedication to eat such planned meals everyday.  For breakfast I had fruit again (I am pumped to get my Shakeology back), lunch was a delicious spinach salad that I also through avocado in and a sweet potato (my new love is sweet potatoes).  Now dinner was an experiment, I made tempeh with some steamed veggies and quinoa.  I had the smoked strips of tempeh earlier in the reset and loved them in the nori rolls and they were delicious however a whole block of baked tempeh was not great.  I ate my entire dinner but I will not make that again.  I am still drinking my water great and taking my supplements.  Lets see what the day brings tomorrow, hopefully no more tempeh :)

Ultimate Reset Day 17

YEAH!!!! I finally feel normal again.  I am not a negative, grumpy person in fact I am kind of an overly positive nice person so the last four or five days have been really rough.  I was very happy when I woke up happy this morning.  My energy and attitude have been great all day.  I can not believe a bowl of fruit in the morning can keep me full until lunch but it does.  Lunch was a cabbage salad with an asian tasting dressing.  It was really good, I gave my daughter a bite and she liked it as well.  Dinner was curry cauliflower and some quinoa with other veggies.  It was good but I don't think I will have cauliflower for my main course again.  It should stay a side dish!  Through this entire process my bathroom breaks have not changed, even through the detox.  I have had a lot of people ask me about the bathroom stuff so that is why I mentioned it :)  I can not believe I only have 4 days left, let the countdown begin.

Ultimate Reset Day 16

Yep still IRRITABLE!!!  I am really hoping it will be better tomorrow.  My energy level has been good I have just been irritable.  I have lost a few pounds and I have lost over an inch around my waist.  Breakfast was a big bowl of fruit which is always delicious.  Lunch was a salad again because I do bible study on Wednesday and that is what I have :)  Dinner was awesome but I switched tonights menu with tomorrow nights.  We have ballgames tomorrow night so I thought the cauliflower would be easier tomorrow.  So tonight I had acorn squash, steamed veggies and some quinou.  I love acorn squash but usually I have brown sugar and butter in it.  Not tonight I put olive oil, aminos, lemon juice and himalayan salt in it and it was GREAT!!!!  I drank water great today and took all my supplements on time.  I am looking forward to eating the same thing as my family again.  Cooking two meals a night can get old.  However, they are going to get to try some of these recipes when I am done.

Ultimate Reset Day 15

If you see me walking down the hall you might just want to get out of my way.  WoW, my mood is CRAZY right now!!!  If you chose to do this program make sure you do not make any big decisions around week 3 :)  As you can see my mood is an issue right now, I am also starting to really want bad foods.  I REALLY want grease!!!  I am still eating great foods.  I had a big bowl of fruit for breakfast, a Greek salad for lunch.  I have fallen in love with sweet potatoes!!!  Dinner was garlic veggies, a sweet potato and I added some millet.  Yes, millet, I like it!
